[3dem] data management tool

Hello Everyone,

Can someone recommend an acquisition data management tool outside the
Athena or Leginon world? We want to keep track of our tomography as
well as single particle acquisitions in the long run.

How do you deal with the task of documenting acquisition, making the
data accessible (searchable), keeping track of the associated file
size cost, archive date, etc.? Or is the consensus to always use
Athena/Leginon?
