[3dem] Open positions at Umeå Centre for Electron Microscopy (UCEM), Sweden

Umeå University is looking for a Staff scientist (PhD) and/or research Project assistant (undergrad/master) with experience in cryo-EM. The position is financed by grants from SciLifeLab for work with SciLifelab’s national services associated to the infrastructure. The work at the Cryo-EM facility implies to delivers service, training and user support for electron microscopy and image analysis. The employment is for 12 months and we hope a successful team member would like to continue. Application deadline is September 9, 2024.

At UCEM we operate a Titan Krios with Selectors Falcon 4i and a Glacios with Falcon 4i for cryo-EM data collection, Scios and Aquilos2 for FIB-SEM and support many further EM applications, please visit our home page or contact me and my colleagues for more information about the lab, facility and jobs:
