I would like to draw your attention to the MultEMplex COST Innovators Grant (CIG) meeting that will take place in Braga (Porto), Portugal 26th-27th September in conjunction with the mfs2023 conference (27-29th of September 2023).

The conference is an international event focused on electron microscopy in life sciences, material sciences and structural biology ( registration is still open!)
On the first two days of the conference (26th-27th Sept), the final meeting of the MultEMplex COST Innovators Grant (CIG) will take place, co-organised by myself, Matthijn Vos (Institut Pasteur), Andreas Walter (University of Aalen), Erin Tranfield (Gulbekian Institute of Science) and Paul Verkade (University of Bristol).

The MultEMplex CIG proposes developing a new EM-grid concept and workflow to revolutionise the cellular cryo-FIB/cryo-CLEM field.

In association with the MFS2023 Meeting, the two-days MultEMplex CIG meeting will give the opportunity to discuss in detail the needs, constraints and the proposed design for the new EM-grid and workflow. Portions of the meeting are open to anyone in the electron microscopy community, and all MFS2023 participants are invited to join the open sessions and contribute to the discussions.

The MultEMplex CIG will cover venue and catering costs. However, advance registration is required, and a participation signature will be needed to verify your participation.
