The project is to analyse the structure of regulators of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signalling pathway using cryoEM and other complementary structural and biophysical approaches. Another PDRA funded on this project is using functional assays in Drosophila, which enables structure-based predictions to be rapidly tested in vivo. There are funds to appoint at any level on the postdoctoral scale so would suit either an experienced postdoc or someone completing a PhD looking for more experience.
