We’re actively expanding the NIH-funded Midwest Center for Cryo-ET (MCCET), Cryo-EM Research Center (CEMRC), and Wright lab. UW-Madison and these resources are a perfect environment for both experienced and trainee-level staff scientists. The CEMRC has four new cryo-microscopes and the two new MCCET microscopes (Krios G4 with Falcon 4/Selectris-Falcon 4/STEM/etc and Aquilos 2 with iFLM) and cryo-specimen prep equipment are arriving and installing Q4 2021. We are a close-knit, active team of scientists working on macromolecular complexes, bacteria, viruses, eukaryotic cells, and technology development in cryo-EM/cryo-ET. In short, this is an ideal environment for you to participate in some of the most exciting research in cellular and structural biology!
