Dear 3DEM,

The Grigorieff lab is looking to hire a postdoc for a fully funded project studying molecular mechanisms of cellular pathways, including ribosome biogenesis, in situ. The candidate will apply and contribute to the development of new biophysical methods to locate and differentiate molecules in cryo-EM images of cells and to solve high-resolution structures in situ. The ideal candidate would have experience using quantitative and computational methods in microbiology or molecular biology with an interest in structural biology. Candidates with experience using single cell or single molecule approaches are particularly encouraged to apply. Prior structural biology experience, especially using cryo-EM, would be advantageous but is not required.
