Dear all,

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join the Joint Center for Energy Storage Research (JCESR) at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The candidate will investigate the structures of solid electrolytes for next-generation lithium-ion batteries using advanced transmission electron microscopes and image processing algorithms. The ultimate goal is to obtain atomic-scale images that will be used to validate the theoretical models and influence future materials design.

The candidate should have Ph.D. in materials science and engineering, electrochemistry or chemical engineering within the last 5 years. Demonstrated expertise in the operation of scanning transmission electron microscopes and/or transmission electron microscopes (STEM/TEM) is required.
