[3dem] Microscope Facility Manager position available in Oxford

Dear All,

We are seeking to fill the post of Microscope Facility Manager for the cryoEM facility in the centre of Oxford.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in the continued development of this facility and to be at the centre of many exciting research programs.

The facility is currently moving into a new building in the heart of Oxford and is equipped with a humidity controlled prep’ room, a Titan Krios with a K3 detector, a Talos Arctica with a falcon 4 detector, a Zeiss CrossBeam FIB-SEM, an F200c and a computational cluster.

The holder of this post would oversee microscopes maintenance and user training as well as engaging in collaborative research. You would work closely with the Computational Facility manager and line-manage a staff scientist.

This is a permanent post and a wonderful opportunity to be at the heart of the Oxford University cryoEM community.
