[3dem] Molecular cryoEM position in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Toronto

Dear Colleagues,
There is a tenure track Assistant Professor position available for a cryoEM investigator in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Toronto.
There is already a Talos120C in the Faculty of Medicine EM facility (https://medicine.utoronto.ca/research/microscopy-imaging-laboratory) and the position comes with funds to install a 200 kV FEG cryoEM screening instrument for specimen optimization.
The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto is a partner institute that shares (along with the Hospital for Sick Children, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute) a Titan Krios G3, currently with a Falcon 4EC camera (http://www.sickkids.ca/Research/Advanced-Bioimaging-Centre/high-throughput/index.html). This instrument is limited to single particle data collection from fully optimized specimens and consequently is able to provide large, extremely high-quality datasets with minimal queuing time.
