[3dem] long monitor cables

Hi,

    Have any of you had luck running long (10+ m) HDMI cables from a noisy workstation in an isolated location to a more pleasant place?  I know that 4k monitors currently cannot be that far away, but how about lower resolution?  Thanks in advance.
