[3dem] Cryo-EM at 2018 ACA annual meeting, Toronto

We will be hosting a full day cryo-EM workshop and a full day session on cryo-EM at the annual meeting of the American Crystallographic Association (ACA) in Toronto, July 20-24, 2018. Abstract submission is open until March 30. There is a great line-up of speakers and lots of slots available for selected presentations. Details are below - please join us!

On Friday July 20, there will be a one-day workshop 'Cryo-­‐EM -A Guide to High‐Resolution Structure Determination’  (organisers: Wah Chiu, Lori Passmore and John Rubinstein), providing a detailed overview of cryo-EM specimen preparation, image processing and building/refinement of atomic models. Aspects of image processing and modelling will be hands-on. Instructors include:

There will also be a full day cryo-EM session (organisers: Wah Chiu and Lori Passmore) on Sunday July 22 highlighting recent advances and structures. The session will include both invited speakers and talks selected from abstracts. Invited speakers:
