The Department of Biochemistry at the University of Washington School of Medicine invites applications for a full time tenure track/tenured position as Assistant or Associate Professor. The position is an outstanding opportunity to establish or continue a vigorous program in high resolution electron microscopy studies aimed at furthering our understanding of the three-dimensional structures, mechanisms of action, and functions of macromolecular biomolecules and assemblies. A special-purpose electron microscopy suite with modern cryo-scopes is already in place. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or an M.D., with training and experience in biosciences. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Submit a curriculum vitae and a research plan to bcsearch at uw.edu by October 15, 2012.
