[3dem] Frontiers in Macromolecular Imaging

I am pleased to announce a symposium on three-dimensional electron
microscopy that will be held at Florida State University on December
1-3, 2011. The symposium, sponsored by FEI, is entitled /Frontiers in
Macromolecular Imaging/ and will serve to dedicate the new Titan Krios
at FSU. The theme of the symposium will focus on the future of 3DEM and
the challenges that need to be met to realize that potential.
The symposium will feature leaders in the field of 3DEM who will speak
on a host of topics including instrumentation, resolution,
heterogeneity, and tomography. There will also be a poster session for
students and postdocs. Registration is free and is open to all, but
access is limited to the first 100 applicants. More information on the
