Position available in correlative microscopy of virus and host cell
interactions
A position for a highly motivated researcher is available immediately in the
laboratory of Peijun Zhang (http://www.structbio.pitt.edu/webusers/pzhang/)
at the Dept. of Structural Biology, University of Pittsburgh School of
medicine. The successful applicant will work within the Pittsburgh Center
for HIV Protein Interactions (PCHPI, http://www.hivppi.pitt.edu
<http://www.hivppi.pitt.edu/> ), an NIH funded center to study structural
biology of HIV. The open position will primarily involve using novel light
and electron microscopy correlative methods established in our lab to
investigate the early events of viral infection and its interaction with
host cells.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Biophysics, Structural Biology or a related
field. Strong research experience in light and electron microscopy is
