Postdoctoral position in cryo-electron microscopy at the Curie Institute,
Paris, France
A three years postdoctoral position is available from now in the team of
Dr. Lévy in the Department of Physical Chemistry.
The research of the team is focused on the structural analysis of ABC
transporters by single particle analysis and electron crystallography.
Methods are also currently developped to analyze by SPA small membrane
proteins and available in low amount.
The team shares a FEG 200 KV JEOL FEG 2200FS with a 2K camera, a Philips
CM120-cryo with a 1K camera and a EM208, an automatic plunger for
cryo-specimen preparation and has a permanent access to a FEG 200 KV Jeol
2010F. Proteins are available in amount and for some already 2D
crystallized. Qualification include a Ph.D. degree with experiences in
electron microscopy and/or image processing.
The Curie Institut is a great Institute of Life and Cancer Sciences that
provides all opportunities of excellence for a post doc. See
