<p class="MsoNormal">We are pleased to announce the beginners <b>Cryo-Electron Tomography virtual course</b> taking place from
<b>the 3th - 6th of November 2025</b> as part of the UK community-led training program in cryo-EM funded by Wellcome and the MRC.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Hosted by the University of Leeds (ABSL), eBIC at Diamond Light Source, the University of Leicester, and Birkbeck, University of London, this four-day course is aimed at
<b>early career researchers with little or no prior experience in cryo-electron tomography that plan to incorporate cryo-ET into their research.</b> It will introduce participants to the cryo-ET workflow, covering sample preparation, sample thinning via FIB-SEM,
tilt-series acquisition, and image analysis. Participants will receive hands-on training in small groups on a Titan Krios, guided by expert instructors, and will observe live demonstrations of cryo-FIB/SEM techniques for lamella milling and lift-outs, as well
as cryo-ET data processing in RELION 5.<o:p></o:p></p>
