The focus of the 2025 GRS will be novel approaches in Cryo-Electron Microscopy and Tomography, emphasizing recent advances in hardware and software that enable in situ structural biology. These developments have expanded opportunities to address complex biological questions using multimodal cryo-EM techniques which we will aim to highlight during the meeting. Through engaging sessions and mentorship, attendees can discuss challenges, share solutions, and build networks within the community.

I will be charing the GRC and the current program is available on: https://www.grc.org/three-dimensional-electron-microscopy-conference/2025/

The 2025 edition will continue the tradition of highlighting cutting-edge method development in all aspects of high-resolution imaging of frozen-hydrated specimens with electron microscopy towards a structural and mechanistic understanding of complex biological systems.
