We are looking for an enthusiastic, talented individual who would like to advance our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration inside cells and tissues, melding the expertise of AstraZeneca and the Rosalind Franklin Institute. This partnership joins up a company that turns ideas into life changing medicines with an Institute pushing forward the boundaries of science and technology. You will work at the leading edge of structural biology, with nascent technologies, to decipher the molecular mechanism of structures inside cells.<br><br>Understanding molecular complexity is crucial to productive drug discovery and efficacious treatments. For many therapeutic targets we can learn a tremendous amount of detailed molecular information on purified samples through structural and biophysical techniques. However, these targets physiologically operate in the complex environment of cells and tissues.
