 at Diamond Light Source, UK with an expertise in membrane protein structural biology. He obtained his PhD in Life Sciences and Chemistry from the University of Warwick before undertaking post-doctoral studies at the University of Edinburgh, University of Oxford,
 and Diamond Light Source. His research interests focus on the biophysical and biochemical characterization of small (>100 kDa) membrane proteins and membrane protein complexes.
