<p>wwPDB is excited to announce that Kyle Morris has joined the EMDB team as their new team leader. Kyle brings 10 years of experience in the cryo-EM field, and will draw on first-hand knowledge from his scientific research and staff roles within cryo-EM facilities. How the EMDB continues to engage with the community will be complemented with the experience Kyle gained developing and coordinating training programmes during his time at eBIC. His vision for EMDB includes strengthening its core functions, developing connections to complementary databases, and preparing the archive for future cryo-EM technologies, including machine learning applications.</p>
