pathways of prion pathogenicity by tracking fluorescent prion assemblies in cells and tissues and elucidating their structures using cryo-correlative light and electron microscopy/tomography (cryo-CLEM/ET). The successful candidate should have experience in

are available on site. Part of the work will be carried out in collaboration with Electron Bio-Imaging Centre (eBIC) at Diamond Light Source Ltd (Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, Oxfordshire, UK), providing access to focused ion beam (cryo-FIB) milling
and state-of-the-art cryo-EM facilities. A Titan Krios microscope with Falcon 3 and K3 direct electron detectors and BioQuantum energy filter, and other advanced cryo-EM equipment will also be available at Birkbeck College London.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt;mso-ligatures:standardcontextual;mso-fareast-language:EN-US"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
