<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Molecular Electron Microscopy Core (MEMC) facility at UVa:</b> The MEMC facility is comprised of four transmission electron microscopes, along with ancillary equipment. A 120 kV Spirit with CCD camera is available for screening negatively
stained specimens. A 200kV F20 equipped with a field emission gun (FEG) and XF415 CMOS camera provides imaging for higher-resolution imaging of stained and cryo samples. A 200kV FEI Glacios with XFEG and Falcon4 camera is used for screening and preliminary
datasets for cryoEM single-particle and tomography analysis. And finally, the Titan Krios is environmentally isolated and equipped with an XFEG, Phase-plate, and a Gatan K3 direct detector with energy filter. In addition, we will be receiving an Aquilos-2
cryoFIB with installation expected by September 2023.<o:p></o:p></p>
