experience in cryo-Focused Ion Beam (Cryo-FIB) technologies and cryo-electron tomography to join our growing team at the UT Southwestern Medical Center Cryo-Electron Microscopy Facility (CEMF). The CEMF contains two Aquilos II cryo-FIB mills (ThermoFisher
Scientific) with integrated fluorescence light microscopes and a stand-alone Stellaris 5 (Leica) confocal fluorescence microscope in environmentally controlled facilities, Leica ICE High Pressure Freezer, wet-lab space for cell culture and sample preparation,
and significant computational infrastructure for operational support. These facilities work in conjunction with our two Titan Krios, Talos Arctica and Glacios electron microscopes, all equipped with direct electron detectors. The CEMF is used by scientists
across the biophysical and biological spectra to solve problems spanning signaling transduction, cell biology, neuroscience and immunology.
