We are pleased to announce an upcoming virtual course this Autumn as part of the UK community-led training program in cryo-EM funded by Wellcome and MRC. This course is aimed at those with some experience in electron microscopy but little or no experience in
cryo-electron tomography. <br class="">
<br class="">
This introduction to electron tomography course will include 1 day of lectures and theory. Over the course, each participant will get 1.5 days on Titan Krios in small groups of 3, to obtain virtual but ‘hands-on’ experience setting up data collection using
TFS Tomo software. We will include sessions on sample preparation for cryo-ET and tilt series reconstruction.<br class="">

<u class="">This course will offer the opportunity for you to send grids and collect data on your samples during the course</u>, if you are interested in this please include on the application form.<br class="">
