Midlands Regional Cryo-EM Facility</a> based at the University of Leicester has a permanent post for an Experimental Officer in Cryo-EM. The successful applicant will work with the facility manager to assist and train users on all aspects of Cryo-EM including
sample preparation, data collection and data processing. The facility houses a TFS Titan Krios G3 equipped with a Bioquantum-K3, screening microscope and ancillary equipment. Recent upgrades for fringe-free illumination and aberration-free image-shift are
resulting in up to 900 micrographs/hour of high-quality data.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We have an ever-growing community of scientists using Cryo-EM and the post holder will also be able to collaborate internally on a number of exciting projects.<o:p></o:p></p>
