<div>I would like to call your attention to a fantastic workshop on state-of-the-art cryoET on Friday 29 July in Portland, Oregon as an ancilla to the American Crystallographic Association 2022 conference. The guiding principle I took in organizing this event
was that anyone who attends, from the future tomographer to the most experienced, should be able to go home with news from the cutting edge that they can use to further their own experimentation. I think you can see this principle at work in the list of speakers,
instructors, and panelists; viz.: Alberto Bartesaghi, Yi-Wei Chang, Wei Dai, Ben Himes, Jun Liu, Alex Rigort, and Danielle Sexton.</div>

<div>Attendees who would also like to present an oral talk at ACA 2022 should note that abstracts are due on 15 April. Poster submissions will run through mid-May. As Alexis Rohou mentioned in his earlier message, there are a bunch of neat sessions sponsored
by the cryo-EM Special Interest Group (SIG) on microED, high-resolution, machine learning in cryo-EM, infectious disease, and more. Workshop 4, "Hands-on Single-Particle Cryo-EM Data Analysis with Cryo EDU" organized by Mike Cianfrocco, will run concurrently
with the cryoET workshop and the lunch discussion breakout groups will be common across the two events.</div>
