<div class=""><span style="font-size: 14px;" class="">The Dubochet Center for Imaging in Geneva, Switzerland (DCI-Geneva, cryoGEnic) is recruiting a cryo-EM core facility manager. The DCI is a joint initiative of the University of Geneva (UNIGE), the University
of Lausanne (UNIL) and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). In addition, the University of Bern (UNIBE) will become another partner site of the DCI.</span></div>

<div class=""><span style="font-size: 14px;" class="">The DCI-Geneva offers two screening microscopes (FEI Tecnai G2 Sphera, and a Talos L120C) and one 200 keV Talos Artica for grid screening and data collection. Members of the DCI also have regular access
to two Titan Krios G4, equipped with Falcon-IV detectors, Cold-FEG electron sources and SelectrisX energy filter at the DCI-Lausanne. Further instruments for all DCI sites will follow. </span></div>

<div class=""><span style="font-size: 14px;" class="">The DCI uses state-of-the-art cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) to contribute to life sciences research in the Lemanic region. The DCI will expand its cryo-EM and
cryo-ET studies with correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM), correlative serial block-face scanning electron microscopy or FIB-SEM, micro-crystal electron diffraction (microED) and time-resolved electron microscopy (TREM). The DCI will train the

<div class=""><span style="font-size: 14px;" class="">Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in (structural) biology, engineering, physics or a related discipline. Extensive experience in cryo-EM and cryo-ET, including sample preparation, instrument setup and alignment,
manual and automated data collection as well as image analysis is expected. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as communication skills in English are required, together with a service-oriented mindset in interactions with customers of the Center, and the
other DCI sites in Bern and Lausanne.</span></div>
