Our </span><span style="margin:0px;font-size:10pt">group aims to understand how eukaryotic genome stability is maintained during chromosome replication. In particular, we aim to determine the molecular mechanisms by which the replication machinery overcomes
obstacles on eukaryotic chromosomes that might otherwise prevent replication fork progression. </span><span lang="EN-US" style="margin:0px;font-size:10pt">As well as conventional molecular biology and biochemistry, we utilise time-resolved, high-resolution
cryo-electron microscopy (cryo-EM) and a new approach we call ‘RECONstitution in SILico’ (RECONSIL) to visualize key steps in DNA replication and repair. An example of this approach is described in the </span><span style="margin:0px;font-size:10pt">recent
