since I followed all instructions to the letter, this is my impression:<br clear="none">
I applied for a "Conference Visa" and the material provided by<br clear="none">
the organizers in Kolkata was incomplete for obtaining<br clear="none">
such a visa, at least according to the people at the official visa office of<br clear="none">
the Indian Consulate in New York. I was not able to find out what it was that<br clear="none"><div>
was missing, either from the consulate people or the organizers in Kolkata.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">So I ended up not going. It has cost me a lot of time and money (for touristic</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">plans prior and after the conference that I already booked, not expecting</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">any problems). The course will focus on structural biology using Transmission<br clear="none">
Electron Microscopy and aims to teach the participants the basic principles<br clear="none">
