The research project focuses on understanding the structural dynamics of cardiovascular disease (CVD) related proteins, including cholesteryl ester transfer proteins (CETP) and lipoproteins. The combined techniques include biochemistry, single-molecule 3D imaging (individual-particle electron tomography) and molecular dynamics to discover the function and inhibition of the protein in regulating the cholesterol transfer. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Candidates must have self-motivation with a Ph.D. degree graduated recently three years and have strong practical experience in biochemistry, structural biology, molecular dynamics, and/or electron microscopy.
