of medical research, nanotechnology, geochemistry, mineralogy, thermofluid study, environmental engineering and water purification. Lectures by application specialists from Leica, Thermofisher Scientific, Tescan, Zeiss, Hitachi, Ametek and Park System will
highlight the latest technological developments in high resolution SEM, cryo SEM, cryo-FIB and Serial Block Face SEM. There will be hands-on training for sample preparation, imaging using the different SEMs at MIC. A short session for computational image analysis
of datasets from cryo-FIB/Serial Block Face SEM will be conducted with interested participants. We have very few seats for the hands-on practical sessions.
