<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="color:#222222">Two to three postdoctoral positions are currently available in the laboratory of Dr. Goran Stjepanovic (https://www.stjepanoviclab.org/) at the School of
Life and Health Sciences (LHS) and Kobilka Institute of Innovative Drug Discovery (KIIDD), the Chinese University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen CUHK(SZ).

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="color:#222222">Our research interests is to understand the structural and mechanistic basis of autophagosomal and autolysosomal membrane formation and</span>
<span style="color:#222222">dynamics using a combination of state-of-the-art structural and biochemical/biophysical techniques. The available subprojects are highly interdisciplinary and range from proteomics approaches to the study of macromolecular complexes
using cryo-electron microscopy. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="color:#222222">KIIDD is equipped with a state-of-the-art cryo-EM facility that includes</span>
<span style="color:#222222">two FEI Titan Krios equipped with K3 and Falcon III direct detector, Gatan Energy Filter and Volta Phase Plate as well as high performance computing resources.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="color:#222222"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;text-justify:inter-ideograph"><span style="color:#222222">The candidates with expertise in biochemistry, structural biology or a related discipline, who are interested in interdisciplinary research are encouraged
to apply. Hands-on experience in protein expression and purification, as well as functional analysis using biochemical and biophysical techniques, are prerequisites. Experience in membrane protein biochemistry, fluorescence microscopy, mass spectrometry, and/or
cryo-EM is an advantage.</span> <span style="color:#222222">Good writing skills and fluency in English are required.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
