of a mammalian Timeless–Tipin-RPA complex (Witosch </span><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">et al</span></i><span style="font-size: 11pt;">,
</span><i><span style="font-size: 11pt;">NAR </span></i><span style="font-size: 11pt;">2014), this project aims at 3D-structures of Timeless complexes with replication fork associated proteins and their subsequent biological validation, e.g. in mutational studies.
It </span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial", sans-serif;" lang="EN-GB">will involve a wide range of techniques including recombinant protein expression (E.coli, insect cells), protein purification, Cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography as
well as complementary biochemical, biophysical and cell-based methods to study protein interactions and activities. The project will be performed within a recently established collaborative research centre (CRC/SFB) on DNA repair and genome maintenance, which
enables extensive interdisciplinary collaborations and networking. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial", sans-serif;" lang="EN-US">The successful postdoc candidate will have

in recombinant protein expression (preferentially insect cells and </span><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"><span style="font-size: 11pt;">E.coli</span></i><span style="font-size: 11pt;">) and in protein purification (preferentially purification of protein
complexes). Additional practical experience with biochemical and quantitative biophysical analyses of protein interactions is an advantage. She/he will
</span></span><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: "Arial", sans-serif;" lang="EN-US">hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and be fluent in English (written and spoken).</span></p>
