We used to send frozen samples (crystals, in this case) from Singapore to the US or France in a dry shipper. As long as the shipper is indeed dry (no liquid N2) it should not be considered dangerous goods or hazardous materials (unless of course the samples
are in fact biohazards). If you ship them as dangerous goods you will have to pay considerably more for the shipment.

<div>I recommend you plaster the sides of the shipper with labels stating things like "no liquid" "non-hazardous" "non-toxic" "non-everything you can think of" and very clear description of the contents (like photos) to prevent curious customs people from opening
it up and taking out the contents to check them. There also needs to be a standard Fedex international shipment manifest in triplicate. A cover letter is also a good idea. Stick everything to the outside of the container. </div>
