 highly motivated researchers interested in perusing carrier in structure-based drug design. The successful candidate will be carrying out structural studies using crystallography and/or single-particle cryo-EM, and will work in a multi-disciplinary environment.<br>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt">A candidate should have a Ph. D. degree in structural biology, molecular biology, chemical biology, biochemistry, or a related subject.  Strong background in molecular cloning, protein expression systems, and protein purification
 is essential.  Structural studies by X-ray crystallography and/or single particle cryo-EM experience is desirable. A qualified person should be a team player, and should have strong writing and verbal communication skills.<br>

<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The lab is equipped with Akta Pure, Wyatt miniDAWN TREOS and DynoPro NanoStar, GelDoc EZ, TTP mosquito crystallization robot with LCP dispenser and humidity chamber, JANSi UVEX microscope + cytomat II for robotic screening
 of crystallization plates under UV and bright field, Leica EM GP, GPU workstations etc.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Rega Institute/KU Leuven provides a unique multi-disciplinary translational research platform, expertise and cutting-edge research facilities for drug discovery.</span></p>
