motivated and creative Post Doctoral Researcher for structural
and molecular biology studies to </span><span
style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">understand
how DNA replication is initiated and regulated in the cell cycle</span><span
style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";mso-fareast-font-family:"Times
New Roman"; mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">. The research will
be performed by the team led by Prof Elena Orlova (ISMB,
Birkbeck, London) and Dr. Cyril Sanders (</span><span
style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">University
of Sheffield). Structures of replication complexes will be
determined using cryo electron microscopy (cryo-EM) in the lab
of Prof Orlova at Birkbeck College (ISMB) in London. The
opportunities offered by the “resolution revolution” in cryo-EM
make this is an exciting time to be involved in mechanistic
biochemistry. The full-time posts are funded by the
Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC)
and are available for a period of 3 years.</span></p>
