I am writing to ask for your help to identify of outstanding candidates for the </span><span style="font-size: 10.000000pt; font-family: 'Calibri'; font-weight: 700" class="">2018 National Academy of Sciences </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri; font-weight: 700;" class="">(NAS) Award for Scientific Reviewing</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri;" class="">, presented this year in </span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri; font-weight: 700;" class="">structural biology</span><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: Calibri;" class="">.</span></p><p class=""><span style="font-size: 10.000000pt; font-family: 'Calibri'" class="">This award recognizes authors who, through their conceptual consideration and review of the field, have both
rendered a significant service to science and had a profound influence on the course of scientific thought. This
year’s selection committee seeks nominations of those who have written reviews or technical concept pieces that
have led to revolutionary advances to the development of methods in the field of structural biology. These areas
include, but are not necessarily limited to: X-ray crystallography, electron microscopy, nuclear magnetic
spectroscopy, small angle x-ray scattering, mass spectrometry, light microscopy, computation, and single molecule
studies.
