CCIR is a recently established cryo-EM centre in southern China. It is located in a newly constructed Biological Science Building and has around 1500 m<sup>2</sup> laboratory space to house a state-of-the-art facility for cryo-electron microscopy. Multiple
FEI Titan Krios, Talos microscopes and other equipment will be installed and commissioned throughout the year 2017 and the early year 2018. There are also excellent auxiliary instruments for samples preparation and GPU workstation, cluster facilities for computing
at CCIR and nationally.</p>
