<a href="http://www.wellcome-matrix.org/" target="_blank">http://www.wellcome-matrix.org</a>. The Cell-Matrix centre is an interdisciplinary research centre embedded within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health at the University of Manchester.

</font></font><font face="Arial, serif"><font style="font-size:11pt" size="2"><span lang="en">The post is funded by the BBSRC and will use cryoEM (FEI Polara with K2 camera) with biochemical and biophysical analyses to study the structure and function of latent

 TGFâ binding protein and its interaction with fibrillin,</span></font></font><font face="Arial, serif"><font style="font-size:11pt" size="2"> leading to an understanding of how TGFâ regulation

<font face="Arial, serif"><font style="font-size:11pt" size="2">is controlled by the matrix<font face="Arial, serif"><font style="font-size:11pt" size="2"> in tissue assembly and homeostasis<font face="Arial, serif"><font style="font-size:11pt" size="2"><span lang="en">.

 Applicants should have a PhD in Biochemistry, structural biology or a related discipline (candidates about to submit their PhD will be considered).</span></font></font></p>
