<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Two postdoctoral positions are available in the structural cell biology laboratory of Daniela Nicastro (<span style="color:#1F497D"><a href="http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/nicastro">www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/nicastro</a></span>)
 at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). Our laboratory uses a wide variety of methods (structural, genetic and biochemical) to study the 3D structure and function of molecular motors, cytoskeletal assemblies, such as cilia and flagella,
 and other subcellular structures from host-virus interactions to cancer-relevant complexes.

<span style="background:white">and </span>enjoy working as part of an active research team. Of particular interest would be previous knowledge in one of the following techniques/topics: cryo-EM/ET, X-ray crystallography, FIB, cancer cell biology, virology or

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">UTSW</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> in Dallas has a state-of the art cryo-EM facility (*) that includes a 300kV Titan Krios
 (with Gatan post-column energy filter) and a 200kV Talos Arctica, both equipped with K2 cameras and Volta phase-plates. In addition, we have a Scios cryo-FIB and accessory instrumentation such as CP3 and Vitrobot plunge-freezers, cryo-CLEM, a high-performance
 computing cluster. We also have access to an algae culture room, and a plethora of shared equipment and core facilities, including core facilities for x-ray crystallography and mass-spectrometry.
