Image Processing (<b style="mso-bidi-font-weight:normal">CEM3DIP 2016</b>)
school will be held at IISER Thiruvananthapuram (IISER-TVM) in </span><span lang="EN-GB"><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thiruvananthapuram" title="More on Thiruvananthapuram"><span style="font-size:10pt" lang="EN-US"><span lang="EN-US">Thiruvananthapuram</span></span></a></span><span style="font-size:10pt">, Kerala, India.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>This is an extensive 11 day course that will
be held from 2 July – 13 July 2016 at IISER-TVM <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>(with a 1 day break, to chill out in the back
waters and beaches of </span><span lang="EN-GB"><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerala" title="More on the State Kerala"><span style="font-size:10pt" lang="EN-US"><span lang="EN-US">God’s
Own Country</span></span></a></span><span style="font-size:10pt">).</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:10pt"><br></span></p>

course</b> will </span><span style="font-size:10pt" lang="EN-GB">focus on structural biology using Transmission </span><span style="font-size:10pt">Electron Microscopy and aims
to teach the</span><span style="font-size:10pt">
</span><span style="font-size:10pt">participants the
basic principles and practical aspects of Image processing and 3D
reconstruction in Single Particle Cryo Electron Microscopy(SPCryoEM) and
Cellular Tomography.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>This is a hands-on
course/workshop, in which theory and practicals are tightly intertwined.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>The topics covered suits both who are new to
the field as well as those who wants to acquire an in-depth understanding<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>of <span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>the
fundamental priciples and practical aspects.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes">
</span>One of the speciality of this course is that, apart from PhD students
and Post Docs, even Faculties/PI’s and protein crystallographers who wish to
acquire knowledge in SPCryoEM are encouraged to apply.<span style="mso-spacerun:yes"> </span>Student participants may also be able to
