<div>Consider Greg McMullan's Falcon hack - it works brilliantly and you simply end up with an 18 frames/sec MRC image stack on a dedicated drive whenever you take an exposure. Google for Chen Xu's Falcon hack tutorial with instructions how to build the capture
PC.</div>

<div>Otherwise I second Bob's recommendation of leginon for targeting individual filaments. We use it together with Greg's Falcon hack.</div>

As everybody knows, data collection for single particle is much easier than before with such settings. But for our filament project, EPU haven't give us such overwhelming effect as in single particle field. In our situation,the filament's concentration is
kept low to avoid overlapping,so the chance to shoot a good tube is not high when automatically collecting data hole by hole. We still prefer manual data collection by taking an image at low mag(4300x) and moving stage to the target area for higher mag imaging.And
here it seems that this method is more efficient.</span><br style="font-family:Calibri,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif">

it seems that movie mode is only controlled by the software EPU. So does anybody have experiences on such situation that either collecting data manually with Falcon's movie mode or collecting data while running EPU but under supervision?</span></span></div>
