We are pleased to announce "A Practical Course in Three-Dimensional
Electron Microscopy" at the Central European Institute of Technology
(CEITEC) at Masaryk University in Brno from June 1-5, 2015. The
course will bring together developers of the software packages
SPIDER, Bsoft, and XMIPP/Scipion. The daily schedule will consist
of theoretical lectures, computer practicals (totaling ~20 hours in
4.5 days), and research talks. Participants will be expected to
present short (6-8 minutes) talks about their research. <br>

<li>Introduction to image-processing and various
image-processing packages</li>
<li>Getting an initial model</li>
<li>Reference-based reconstruction</li>
<li>Tomography and subtomogram averaging</li>
<li>Advanced topics, such as flexible fitting and 3D
classification<br>
</li>
</ul>
<b>Dates:</b> June 1-5, 2015 (welcome mixer the evening of Sunday
May 31, and departure mid-day on Friday June 5)<br>
