<br /><span class="sender"><div class="mimepart multipart mixed">Please note new March 13 deadline for the position described below:<br /><br />Cryomicroscopy Research Scientist<br /><br />National Institute for Medical Research/ Francis Crick Institute<br />Salary: Competitive with benefits<br />Type: Fixed Term Contract (3 years)<br />Closing date: 13 March 2015<br /><br />We are offering one 3-year research position in electron cryomicroscopy in the Rosenthal Laboratory<br />in NIMR’s Division of Physical Biochemistry.<br /><br />NIMR is one of the founding institutes of the new Francis Crick Institute.<br />Opening in 2015 at St Pancras in central London, the Crick will have 1,250 researchers.<br />Its goal will be to understand the basic biology underlying human health. It is supported<br />by the Medical Research Council, Cancer Research UK, the Wellcome Trust, University College London,<br />Imperial College London and King’s College London.<br /><br />The post-holder will work on experimental single particle cryomicroscopy of macromolecular complexes<br />and/or tomography with a focus on instrumentation, data acquisition, and automation.
