We characterise the structure and function of macromolecular complexes involved in key cellular processes such as gene expression (addition/removal of mRNA polyA tails) and DNA repair. We use a hybrid approach including electron microscopy, x-ray crystallography, yeast genetics and biochemistry.<br class=""><br class="">The successful applicant will be awarded an MRC Training Fellowship, which is a three year training and development position for a postdoctoral scientist who has recently completed their doctoral studies or is moving into a new research discipline.
