The course is aimed at students, postdocs and junior faculty that already have experience practicing cryoEM.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>We can accommodate ~50 participants.</P></SPAN></P><P class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><SPAN style="">A major goal of the course will be to discuss some of the challenges in cryoEM that remain to be solved, including improvements in specimen preparation, imaging, processing and reconstruction required to reach higher resolutions and solve small structures with limited symmetry or conformational variability. The basic format of the course will be theoretical lectures in the mornings followed by practical demonstrations and panel discussions in the afternoon. All meals will be provided as part of the course registration fee but participants will be expected to cover their own travel and lodging expenses.
