Research will focus on novel approaches to advance virus isolation, purification, structural studies, and vaccine development. This interdisciplinary research will involve structural biologists, virologists, and biochemists from the University of Texas Medical Branch (Galveston, TX) and chemists and biophysicists from Sandia National Laboratories (Livermore, CA).
