Postdoctoral Position </div>
<div class="MsoNormal"> <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">A
postdoctoral fellowship is available to develop new technologies to
study pathogenic viruses. Research will focus on novel approaches to
advance virus isolation, purification, structural studies, and vaccine
development. This interdisciplinary research will involve structural
biologists, virologists, and biochemists from the University of Texas
Medical Branch (Galveston, TX) and chemists and biophysicists from
Sandia National Laboratories (Livermore, CA). Candidates should have
research experience in physics, chemistry, biophysics, virology,
microfluidics, and/or materials science. </div>

<div class="MsoNormal">Facilities
include state-of-the-art laboratories for Biosafety level 2/3/4
experiments, tissue culture, microfabrication and design, cryo-electron
microscopy, and computational biology. </div>

<div class="MsoNormal">Fellowship requirements dictate that applicants
must be US citizens or permanent residents.<span style=""> </span>Interested
