<div>A permanent position is available in the Cryo-Electron Microscopy
Facility in the Astbury Centre for Structural Molecular Biology at
Leeds University, UK. The main task of the appointment is to supervise
and support use of a Tecnai F20 FEG microscope. Salary will be up to
£39k (~$74k) p.a. depending on experience.</div>

<div><font color="#000000">Biological electron microscopy at Leeds has
5 TEMs, including the Tecnai F20 cryo-microscope with 4k CCD camera.
This microscope also has a GIF post-column energy filter with 2k CCD
camera and is equipped for fully automated operation with Leginon and
for tomography. The facilities are mainly used for single particle
studies, but also for time-resolved cryo-EM and a broad range of other
methods. Computing resources include a 150 processor linux
cluster.</font></div>

<div>Experience with cryo-EM and single particle image processing is
desirable, but applications from other relevant disciplines, such as
materials science and physics, are encouraged.</div>

<div>Leeds University has one of the largest and most vigorous
