Dear all,
we are inviting applications for a PostDoc position hosted at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. The position is funded in the form of a tax-free, two-year scholarship by the Carl Trygger Foundation. The funded project aims to understand the mechanism of ATP release by the large pore channels. The proposed work will expand on our recent cryoEM structures (https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://doi.org/10.1101/2025.02.17.638584__;!!Mih3wA!CUQRnDLR-V6X5suLybh88tTxtfENXHs6p4hiXpE5bMxSErOtXLXaRQAeNmm7uC7C4KRoFn4RNzXEchX5$ ) in a multidisciplinary team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the purification of membrane proteins and their imaging by cryoEM. We have ample access to the microscopes and equipment at the Cryo-EM Swedish National Facility.

-basic qualifications:
PhD in biochemistry, structural biology, or related field within 6 years of the time of admission
Expertise in one of the following areas: cryo-EM, X-ray crystallography documented through relevant publications.
